Dr. John Gold is a complete food, suitable for dogs of all breeds.

A lighter maintenance food for working dogs. Based on chicken and beef, with wholegrain cereals to make it tasty. Food that promotes slow energy release. This food has been developed for dogs that use a lot of energy, for example sporting or hunting dogs.

Suitable for adult dogs. Available in 15kg packaging.

Cereals, meat and animal by-products (min. 4% chicken), minerals, oils and fats.

Crude protein 18%, crude fat 6%, crude fibre 2.5%, crude ash 6%.

 

Instructions for use

Dr. John Gold can be given dry, or may be moistened. Make sure you always provide fresh drinking water for your dog.

Nutritional advice

Small dogs <10kg : up to 220g

Medium dogs 10-25kg : 220g – 370g

Large dogs 25- 45kg: 370g – 700g

Very large dogs > 45kg: 700g+

The recommended quantities (as described here) are guidelines. Your dog's age, condition and temperament affect its daily nutritional needs. Very small, large or working dogs need on average 20% more than recommended in this dietary guideline.

Diet change advice

Some dogs can be sensitive to changes in diet. This is why we recommend mixing their usual pet food with the new food for the first few days. We recommend following these guidelines when changing:

Day 1: 75% of their current pet food, 25% Dr. John
Day 2: 50% of their current pet food, 50% Dr. John
Day 3: 25% of their current pet food, 75% Dr. John  
Day 4: Now you can feed them only Dr. John pet food.
