The product contains at least 60% freshly steamed chicken and is completely grain free. The product is supplemented with pumpkin and delicious vegetables. Our pure, fresh and natural ingredients are lightly steamed and vacuum sealed to preserve the essential nutrients. Because this product is steamed, it is 100% safe, and is ideal for travelling or holidays.
Some dogs are intolerant or allergic to cereals. Three quarters of a cereal's protein consists of gluten. Glutens contain the protein gliadin. Gliadin can cause problems such as allergies in dogs. All cereals contain gluten, but only the gluten in wheat, barley and rye contains gliadin. Seeds from oats, barley, rice, maize, sorghum and teff are more or less also classified as grains. However, these do not cause allergies because their gluten does not contain the protein gliadin. The so-called pseudo-grains (not cereals) such as quinoa, amaranth and buckwheat are also gluten free.
